Sonically encapsulating a bleary-eyed awakening on a sunny morning (like this one), LA outfit Tashaki Miyaki have shared 'I Feel Fine' - a new single from their forthcoming album Castaway. Hitting some hazy 90s reference points from Mazzy Star to My Bloody Valentine, vocalist Paige Stark's delivery is blissed out and a little exasperated with the state of of the world, explaining: “I was inspired by the emotion of the Replacements song “Unsatisfied” and wanted to write my own ode to dissatisfaction. I always say I’m fine when it’s quite the contrary, so I started there and got more and more specific with each verse.” Castaway will arrive on the 2nd of July via Metropolis Records, but for now check out the vampire-inspired video for 'I Feel Fine'. -Holly Mullineaux
